About Church of the King

Church of the King started in 1999 by Pastor Steve and his wife, Jennifer. With 19 people in attendance, Church of the King held its first service in a small church in Mandeville, Louisiana. Within a few months, the church moved into a commercial office space to accommodate the rapid growth. At the end of the first year, the weekend attendance grew to over 450 people. The church continued to grow and in the spring of 2001 purchased the Adventure Skate building on the northeast corner of Interstate 12 and Highway 59 in Mandeville. After a four-month renovation to convert the “skating rink” into a 1000 seat auditorium, the church held its first service just two days prior to the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

A Church United

"Our journey with Dr. Glenn Sauls started back in 2002 sitting in a living room. We have now worked with Glenn and Sauls Consulting for over thirteen years in three campaigns. COTK has given over $30 million dollars in our campaigns with Sauls Consulting and we have seen our church grow from 1300 people to over 6000 in our weekend services. We have now moved into our new $38 million worship center that seats over 2600 people with incredible children’s areas, a massive atrium area, two cafes, media center, recording studio, green room, and over beautiful space. We are grateful for the partnership with Glenn and SCS. They have been with us every step of the way over the last decade. Our leadership cannot imagine doing this project without Glenn and SCS."
